Battlefront.com正式公佈了海戰模擬遊戲《魚雷艇：南方開局》(PT Boats South 
Gambit)，作為《魚雷艇：海上騎士》 的獨立資料片(可脫離原作執行)，加入了更 
多的二戰戰役、武器裝備和可玩性。 
 
在《南方開局》中，玩家將駕駛魚雷艇進入地中海，護送盟國軍隊和物資補給前往 
北非戰場，突破軸心國對馬耳他島的封鎖。而在黑海海域，玩家要保護蘇聯海上運 
輸線的安全，攻擊德軍的基地。遊戲結合了模擬和策略特性，新增IL-2、He 111、 
意大利戰艦、英國魚雷艇等各種作戰單位，可以進行魚雷轟炸和海上佈雷，並提高 
了AI和圖片效果。
